Polar Express

Sunday after playing in the snow and getting our new Christmas jammies, we were all set to catch our train...to the North Pole, of course! We drove into Williams, AZ to catch the Polar Express on the Grand Canyon railways. We were ALL very excited to see where Santa lives.

The kids and I ready to board the train

All aboard! Clara handing her boarding pass to the chef.

Jonathan getting ready to board as well (He was especially excited just to be getting on a real train!)

Ready for our adventure! (Grandma Ginia and Grandpa Vic were kind enough to keep Matthew with them at the hotel. I had originally planned on bringing him along, but he's teething already, so not much fun for too long and I wanted to be sure Clara and Jonathan had a lot of fun!)

Time for cookies and hot cocoa! The chef sang and danced down the aisle as they handed out the goodies!

The cookies were baked by Mrs. Claus, herself! Clara claimed Mrs. Claus made the best cookies ever!

By the looks of it, Jonathan agrees :)

Mmmm, cocoa!

Jonathan actually started this, he was eating my nose, then pulling it out of his belly button and placing it back on my face. Clara just had to get in on the fun!

"Oh, you better watch out, you better not pout...."

Happy times!

"Up on the housetop..."

"...out jumps good ol' Santa Claus"

"I think I see it..."

"Here it comes..."

The North Pole!!!!!!!
(Did you know Santa lives nextdoor to Frosty the Snowman?)

Guess who just came on the train?!!!!

SANTA!!!!! And he brought a sleighbell for each child!

Hugs for Santa

A 'real' reindeer bell
