Happy 1st Birthday Matthew!!!!!

As you know, we celebrated Matthew's birthday early so that Chris could celebrate with us before he left for the ship. Still, that doesn't mean I could let his actual birthday go by unnoticed!

'Birthday Boy'

Since we're still recovering from cake overload from 2 weeks ago, we decided to simply take Matthew for his free birthday ice cream at Coldstone. He had cake batter ice cream with sprinkles.

Jonathan really enjoyed his mint ice cream with rainbow sprinkles, too.

Clara chose the Berry sorbet with M&M's....don't ask me, but she really liked it!

He loved the taste, but wasn't sure what to make of the 'cold'

When your belly is full of ice cream, sometimes you just have to put your feet up and relax!

After baths at home, Matthew got to open his presents from Clara and Jonathan.

He was excited about the boxes, but that was all he needed. He didn't have much interest in opening them.

His very own markers, so he can color with his big brother and sister.

Now for the big box!

He thought it was simply for climbing on. He was having great fun just climbing on and off the box!

He finally got all the paper off (with a little help!)

It's a tractor tent! (Now we can really race tractors!)

He likes to just climb in it and then knock it down!

My parents sent him this birthday suit as well.
