Jonathan is still learning new words, he has even moved on to 2 word sentences! Chris fears he'll be talking in complex sentences by the time he returns in 6 months. Only sometimes his pronunciation of these new words leaves you wondering if you should wash his mouth out with soap, or post it on the blog -- word's like shirt, sit, foot and fork!

My laugh for the day. I can just imagine what people will think as you walk through the grocery storeone day and he sees the plasticware he wants to identify all of them for you. We once had a neighbor who was so upset because her son was saying a word she just didn;t know where he'd learned. Her mother was coming to visit and the neighbor was so embarrased. Finally one day she realized her son was calling the dog down the street--Buster!!!
Josiah said "fire truck" in much the same fashion - it made people's heads turn! It's so fun!!!
