Zoo Lights

After naps, we finished the day off at the zoo. The kids were super excited, the weather was great, and the display was beautiful!
The giant Santa that welcomed us as we walked in.

I found a couple extra gingerbread men!

Cool giraffe lights

Notice Matthew is already minus a shoe...this picture may have been helpful earlier tonight as we retraced our steps looking for a lost gray shoe on the asphalt walkway in the dark! The giraffe lights were very close to the beginning, It was probably a good half hour later that we first discovered the missing shoe and began retracing our steps. We didn't find it. Towards the end of the evening that same foot was also missing a sock. He HATES socks and shoes, and will pull them off constantly. We retraced our steps again and found the sock. At the end of the evening, we stopped by the front desk and sure enough, someone had kindly returned his shoe. I can't wait for Santa to bring him some tie-shoes, which will hopefully be harder for him to pull off!

The Zoo Santa. Clara said the zoo Santa must be the real one because his beard was white, but the Petsmart Santa had a gray beard. She also noted that she had told the Petsmart Santa her name this morning, but the zoo Santa asked her what her name was...he should have remembered!
