Grandpa John's birthday was on the 27th, so we invited him over for dinner Sunday to celebrate with him. The kids were excited because that meant cake! Clara had a friend over to spend the night so the kids were about as excited as they could be.
After dinner we brought out the cake (ice cream cake - YUM!) and sang 'Happy Birthday' to the birthday boy.

You're never too old for trick candles! After about 5 tries and a lot of help Grandpa John finally got that candle to go out.Happy Birthday Grandpa John!
